Introduction Our life today is surrounded by music. Whether we are in front of TVs or radios, sitting in concert halls, walking in the street, or listening to our iPods, there are a lot of opportunities to listen to music. While listening to music is pleasant, playing music gives a higher degree of enjoyment and satisfaction to our lives. Playing the guitar is an especially rewarding experience, since the guitar offers gorgeous sound and countless tone colors. Because of these features, great musicians, such as Ludwig van Beethoven and Andrés Segovia, considered guitar as a miniature orchestra.
Teaching I take a holistic approach to guitar teaching. I believe that playing the guitar is a very personal experience because it involves much more than one’s fingers and understanding of music theory: it involves the way one holds the guitar, the production of sound, and subtleties in the changing of notes.
